Dutchess County Agency, Lions Clubs Collect Eyeglasses
DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Dutchess County Division of Solid Waste Management, working with the Lions Clubs International, recently celebrated America Recycles Day by collecting 264 pairs of eyeglasses, 57 pairs of sunglasses and six hearing aids that were locally donated, improving the sight and hearing of many local residents.
